nestled in the rural hills of ireland, the boarding school is a safe haven for students who come far and wide to attend. while peace has reigned over the three houses of students, it is becoming increasingly clear that the serenity will not last forever. tension is building between students who take what started out as simple house rivalry too far. halfway through rhanterium's one-hundredth year in running, there is a terrible happening. dozens of students die at the hand of gunfire by a troubled student who, at the end of his destruction, killed himself in the halls of the shcool. it becomes apparent to the professors and the students at rhanterium that the peace they once had is beginning to fray at the seams when numerous students of both the academy and university along with residents of the town complain about hauntings. now, a single question is beginning to gnaw at the minds of everyone: what happens now?
